How to prepare for a photoshoot with a horse
For photoshoots stables usually choose a calm horse that is used to people, and the shoot takes place outdoors or in the arena. Some stables work with their own photographer, others let you bring one of your choice.
Arrange the shoot in advance and say what photos you want: in the saddle or next to the horse. Choose clothes that do not flap in the wind, as fluttering fabric can startle a horse. The softest light comes early in the morning and before sunset.
