How to choose a riding camp

At a day camp children spend the day at the stable and go home in the evening, while at an overnight camp they stay on site for several days or a week. There are usually riding lessons every day, with horse care and games in between.

Before signing your child up, ask the minimum age, how many children are in a group and whether riding experience is needed. Places at summer camps often fill up in spring, so it is worth booking early.
